Almira Laptops Initiative!

This year in an effort to integrate technology, impact student learning, and inspire our students we implemented a middle school "Laptops for Learning" project. Each middle school student received this year a laptop that is assigned to them throughtout the school year. Students are allowed to take home the laptop each night if they have a security plan, contract, and other documents turned in. This year students will be involved with doing some blogging, using wireless probes, and doing some geocaching. It all about getting students excited about learning!
